Production & Logistics Supervisor

VIA Inc. is a seating manufacturer based in Sparks, Nevada and is in search of a Productions and Logistics Supervisor who is eager to be a key contributor to a growth focused company.  The position is a key member of the Operations team.  The ideal individual will possess the skills and initiative to coordinate activities that help streamline production, plan production flow, optimize warehouse operations, and manage logistics trafficking.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing production supervision, including strong logistics experience


• Bachelors Degree in related field preferred


• Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to evaluate business impact, present insights and provide recommendations persuasively.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to effectively communicate will all levels, including vendors and customers as needed.


• Ability to work independently and be committed to meeting deadlines


• Detail oriented with strong results focus


• Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving and comfort with multi-tasking.


• Extensive experience with MS Excel
