Leading retailer urgently requires an Interim Continuous Improvement Manager to provide immediate site support for a period of 12 months, driving operational improvements within the warehouse, from business case preparation, CAPEX management through to successful implementation.

Leading retailer with an international e-commerce presence with based in the Sheffield area.


The successful Interim Continuous Improvement Manager will be accountable for the identification of opportunities forefficiencies across warehouse operational and systems processes, and the effective projectmanagment and implementation of changes to facilitate continued growth.

  • Being the main point of contact for any change requests from Operations and work alongside teams to identify opportunities for effective change.
  • Development of logistic metrics, internal analysis tools, or key performance indicators for business units;
    • To project manage selected projects through controlled initiation, delivery and closure phases, and implement agreed best practice.

    • To ensure the creation and adherence of all relevant project documentation, ensure all stakeholders are engaged effectively and manage dependencies and resource conflicts within and between individual and multiple projects on site.

    • To help identify, measure and record risks, and ensure that adequate mitigation and contingency is in place, ensure that the project progress is analysed and success measured.


The successful Interim Continuous Improvement Manager must have:
  • At least 5 years experience within Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
  • Be available for a January start and flexible to travel to a single site location around Sheffield.
  • Be willing to commit to a 12 month fixed term arrangement.
  • Show evidence of an operational grounding in retail distribution, with a relevant focus on driving operational improvements across manual processes and technology/automated processes.
  • Show evidence of structured project management experience, including all related governance and reporting, budgetary responsibility, senior stakeholder engagement and resource management.
  • Project management qualification, or LEAN Six Sigma desirable.

Job Offer

The successful Interim Continuous Improvement Manager will be offered between £40,000 and £60,000 on a fixed term basis, or an equivalent daily rate.
