This is an exciting brand new role that has arisen due to the creation of a new £120m turnover multi-site division formed from the recent amalgamation of two divisions. Up until now procurement has been carried out on a local basis.

You will oversee the management of all material related disciplines and will develop and execute the full end to end supply chain strategy and direction for the division, delivering significant value for the organisation through an innovative and customer focused procurement service.
Initially, you will manage the Cheltenham Procurement team and Global Supply Chain, ensuring robust processes exist to facilitate adherence to business requirements, to drive cost down initiatives and to identify and mitigate the risks associated with a diverse supplier base. Once established in the role you will take on full procurement responsibility across PCS in the UK. You will have a proven track record as a Head of Procurement/Procurement Director, managing full end-to-end supply chain, leading teams across multi-sites in aerospace or electronics manufacturing environments. You will have the ability to offer a detailed, business-wide strategic overview and will have proven skills in negotiating and in improving long-term supplier performance. You will also have a track-record in driving change and developing teams to become best-in-class.
