To strengthen the team Faith in Nature is now seeking a Demand Planner/Stock Controller at what is an exciting time of change and growth in their business. This combined, full time role reports directly into the Head of Operations and responsibilities will be:
To create a weekly Manufacturing and Filling plan that meets the needs of the business – continually reviewing all relevant stock holding data and forward customer demand requirements to create a robust plan
Generate system documentation to drive and control daily production operations, monitoring operational outputs and achievement to plan, and responding accordingly with forward plans.
Conduct and interpret physical stocktakes, updating systems and identifying opportunities for improved control.
Ensure that all raw materials and components required for the manufacture of finished goods are ordered and available in a timely manner to deliver the plan.
Manage the goods received process to ensure accuracy of deliveries to time and quantity.
Monitor supplier performance and evaluate opportunities for supply improvement and cost saving in conjunction with technical department.
Working as part of the team you will have previous experience, ideally from a manufacturing background, of providing comprehensive stock control and demand planning support. Key requirements for the Demand Planner/Stock Controller role include:
Motivation, drive and a passion to generate new ideas and approaches
Strong communication skills and an ability to influence across all levels internally and externally
Problem solving along with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work within a team to find solutions
The ability to adhere to all policies and statutory legislation, including an awareness of fire and Health and Safety regulations
Strong analytical skills and an understanding of financial IT and demand planning systems
Excellent IT/Microsoft Office skills, ideally including Encore
